“Electrical & Electronics Engineering” is a growing and one of the most sought disciplines in the field of engineering study. It comprises with the electrical engineering and electronics engineering. It is originated by the electrical engineering. By the technically modernisation of the world and computerisation in our work field, it is necessary to use and understand the circuits and computerised devices in electrical & electronic field. The electrical & electronics engineering (EEE) involves with the power. It can be existed in various forms like turbine, hydro, gas, fuel cell, solar, wind or geothermal energy. It involves the use, storage and generation of the power and energy.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering not only involves in electrical appliances, but also involves in computer, electronics, communication and mechanical fields. One can become an electrical and electronics engineer after completing the 4-years study of Bachelor of Technology in this field. Electrical & electronics engineering can involve the large and small amounts of power and devices.

EEE department wat started in 2004 with an initial intake of 60 and increase to another 60 in 2008. EEE is also started its diploma programme in 2009 with an initial intake of 90 and got increased to 120 in 2012.

The departmentis well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and necessary infrastructural facilities. The laboratories which includes:

Automation has been playing a major role in industries, in the context, every EEE student mus have knowledge in PLC (Programmable Logical Control). Keeping this importance in the minds of the department of EEE, department has organized a hands on workshop on PLC  in association with AP Skill Developemnt, A.P., Amaravathi.

Scilab is an open source numerical, programming and graphics environment. It is capable of interactive calculations just like MATLAB. Automation of computations is also possible in it through programming. It provides all basic operations on matrices via built-in functions. SCILAB can be programmed to produce simple or fancy graphical user interface components. The department of EEE was conducted a hands on workshop on “SCILAB” for the benifit of the students in machine designing.
